Training

The CYL dragon boat crew has both land and water training sessions. The land training sessions are generally a weights circuit and some running in order to improve strength and fitness. The water sessions are for paddling experience, timing, technique and teamwork.

Water Training

Water training is held in Blackwattle Bay, Glebe. The boats launch from under the Anzac Bridge pylon at 1 Bank Street, Pyrmont. Follow the signs to the Fish Markets, but instead of turning into the Fish Markets car park, keep driving straight and you'll see some dragon boats on your left (if you're heading west).
