NSW State Championships 2015 - SIRC
A rainy Saturday morning greeted paddlers at the NSW State Championships 2015, Penrith - the final NSW race for the 2014/15 season. This is one of the toughest races on the calendar being 500m, and all clubs wanting to finish the NSW season on a high.

- Premier Opens - 1st (2:01.09)
- Premier Womens - 5th (2:21.30)
- Premier Mixed Black - (2:03.13)
Congratulations to the Premier Opens crew for taking out 1st place! This is the first time since 1996 which our club has won the State Championships.
Special mention must also go to the Premier Womens crew for valiantly paddling 5th in their final - their best result at State Championships in recent memory.

Chinese New Year 2015 - Darling Harbour
The annual Chinese New Year regatta was held at Darling Harbour on the beautiful Saturday morning of 28/02/15. As expected, this regatta was the most popular of the calendar with clubs traveling from as far as Orange and Kempsey to participate. Competition was fierce, as all clubs paddled hard with the aim to win the coveted title of being champions of Chinese New Year. CYL achieved the following results:
Chinese New Year 28/02/15 - 200m
- Premier Opens - 2nd (43.82s)
- Premier Mixed Black - 5th (48.38s)
- Premier Womens - 6th (52.69s)
Special mention must go to the CYL Premier Womens crew who were actually seeded 2ND for the final after winning Heat 2 and coming 2nd in Heat 1.
